Child Support Resources:

•   Local agency responsible for the collection and enforcement of administrative and court-ordered support payments

Domestic Violence Resources:

•   Provides information on domestic violence and stalking, including information on the law and available community resources
  

•   Provides safe, temporary shelter for battered women and their children and offers individual and family counseling, support and advocacy services for victims of domestic violence
  

Employment and Training:

•   Provides a number of resources to aid employers and job seekers, as well as individuals seeking more information regarding careers, the labor market and work-related issues
  

•   Provides employment and training programs, including support, income management, health and child protective services
  

Lawyer Referral Resources:

•   Provides an attorney referral list comprised of Lake County Bar Association members to individuals seeking legal representation
  

•   Provides free legal assistance to low income clients in Lake County
  

•   Provides legal representation and other services to low income clients who are accused of a criminal offense and who cannot afford an attorney
  

Social Services Resources:

•   Provides a range of services to children and adolescents who are experiencing emotional, behavioral and substance abuse problems
  

•   Assists families with a variety of needs via Income Maintenance Programs, Public Employment and Training Services and Child Support Enforcement Programs
  

•   Provides a wide range of community resources and services available to individuals of all ages, focusing on helping youth succeed, strengthening and supporting families, promoting self-sufficiency, building vital and safe neighborhoods, and supporting the aging population
  

•   Provides a variety of services for individuals who have been affected by their own or another’s use of alcohol and/or drugs
  

•   Provides support, education, counseling, vocational rehabilitation, and socialization activities for individuals and their families, and persons in crisis or transition
  

•   Provides mental health services to Lake County residents age 18 years and older
