Is it necessary to possess a law degree or have any other type of experience to become a volunteer?

It is not necessary to have prior legal experience or any other specific background.  We are looking for caring individuals who desire to make a positive impact on the community.

For what hours are volunteers needed?

Because volunteers are asked to go out into the community to visit the wards at their residence, there is no set schedule.  Volunteer visitors and wards can schedule meeting times that are convenient for both individuals.

How much time does volunteering require?

It depends on what volunteers are looking for.  We ask that volunteers visit their wards on a bimonthly basis and these meetings can last anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour.  Volunteers can choose to visit one or several wards.
