VOLUNTEER VISITOR AND GUARDIANSHIP PROGRAM Welcome!
Thank
you for your interest in the Lake County Probate Volunteer Visitor and Guardian
Program. Volunteers such as yourself can
make a difference in the lives of vulnerable senior citizens who are no longer
able to care for themselves. You will be an advocate who enhances the quality of
their lives.
The
Lake County Probate Court believes that all persons are entitled to be treated
with respect and dignity should they become incompetent or incapacitated.
In Lake County, we are trying to address the growing needs of our elderly
citizens. Our program is dedicated to improving the lives of those in need by
providing trained, qualified, volunteer visitors and guardians. However, its
very difficult to obtain volunteers. We all have a responsibility to be
concerned and to assist our neighbors especially in time of need.
Our

strives to provide the optimum quality of care for the
incompetent, vulnerable citizens of Lake County.
