JUDGE TED KLAMMER's BIOGRAPHY

Judge Ted Klammer has served as Lake County Probate Judge since 2003.

Judge Klammer is a 1970 graduate of Cleveland Marshall College of Law where he earned a Juris Doctor Degree.

Judge Klammer has over 32 years of law practice in federal and state courts. He was a former assistant Lake County prosecutor, Madison Township solicitor, law director for City of Eastlake, acting judge for Painesville Municipal Court, special counsel to the Board of Lake County Commissioners, and special counsel for the City of Willoughby Hills.

Judge Klammer is a member of the Ohio Association of Probate Judges, the Ohio State Bar Association, and Lake County Bar Association. He was a former member of American Trial Lawyers Association along with the Ohio Municipal Attorney Association. Judge Ted Klammer has been a member and chairman of Lake County Metroparks. Also, he has been chairman and hospital trustee of Lake Regional Health Care Corp. 

Judge Klammer has received national recognition from the American Bar Association for the Annual Probate and Mental Health Conference. 

Judge Klammer has been a resident of Lake County for over 40 years, and currently resides in Concord Township with his wife of over 34 years, Betty Klammer. He and Betty have two children, Joseph and Lisa Klammer. Joseph, Darya (daughter in law), and Lisa are attorneys in The Klammer Law Office Limited located in  Mentor, Ohio.
